Peter Okul has 20+ years of corporate leadership and risk mitigation experience across a range of sectors. Recognized for demonstrating a natural aptitude for motivating high performing teams in driving information security, as well as for optimizing threat identification and mitigation, He has a verifiable history of contributing directly to organizations success throughout his career. Peter was recently recognized and received Official Citation by The Commonwealth of the Massachusetts USA, the house of the representatives in recognition of his leadership and contribution to the Private security sector at The State House, Brockton City, Massachusetts (Rita A. Mendez-House Representative) 05.12.2024.

Peter Founder and the President of Canik Spy Ltd , founder CPU Africa , Founder Close Protection Association of Kenya (CPAK) and the Chairman of Nyanza Complex Rifle Club. He was honored with an Official Citation from Massachusetts for his leadership in the security sector. With over 20 years of experience, he pioneered local access to internationally accredited close protection trainings in Kenya and is involved in various anti-terrorism and security.

He is currently serving as a Director/Advisor of Anti-Terrorism Division of the International Anti-Terrorism Professionals Association IATPA and Anti Trafficking Bureau ATB for East Africa Region, East Africa Director for International Diplomatic Alliance. Besides being the Founder of different successful organizations. He is a member of International Police Association Kenya chapter and Secretary General of Competitive Marksman Action (CMA).

He is a pioneering entrepreneur who transformed the security industry. Under Peter’s  leadership and skills, Close Protection Industry has been changed and Kenyan’s can now access (CPO) International Trainings locally with International accreditations. Peter’s entrepreneurial journey is characterized by his relentless focus on customer satisfaction and his willingness to take bold risks to drive innovation and growth. Today, Canik Spy Ltd serve as practical case studies, illustrating real-world applications of Close Protection trainings principles and providing inspiration for aspiring citizens in Close Protection Industry.

He is focused exclusively on professional and executive-level corporate security services. In addition to his success at finding and introducing  the most significant Close Protection trainings  at all international  levels and with International accreditations. “For more than 15 years he has  worked to change the traditional expectations of a businesses security functions and how organizational management perceives it.
