We are seeking two (2) interns in each of the following departments to work at our NGO\u2019s head office in Nairobi.<\/p>\n

Information and Communication Technology (ICT) or Information Technology (IT)<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/h3>\n
    \n
  1. \n

    Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and networks.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  2. \n

    Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, including desktops, printers and servers.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  3. \n

    Provide technical support to users, including troubleshooting and resolving IT related problems.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  4. \n

    Ensure security of IT systems, including data backup, antivirus protection and access controls.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  5. \n

    Manage and monitor network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPN.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  6. \n

    Implement and enforce IT policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance and security.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  7. \n

    Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and solutions to improve efficiency and productivity.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  8. \n

    Collaborate with other departments to understand IT needs and requirements.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  9. \n

    Plan and execute IT projects, including upgrades, migrations and installations.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  10. \n

    Document IT systems, configurations, and procedures for knowledge sharing and training.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
