Located in a massive 386,000-square-foot facility near Spokane International Airport, this tech hub brings together nearly 50 partners, including major players like Boeing and Lockheed Martin.
The AAMMC is all about creating cutting-edge aerospace materials that will make aircraft lighter and more sustainable – pretty much revolutionizing how we build planes.
What makes this even better is that Spokane just got named one of 31 inaugural Tech Hubs by the Biden-Harris administration, which means we’re looking at some serious funding potential – we’re talking $40-70 million! The focus is on developing these advanced composite materials that everyone in aerospace is desperate to get their hands on.
It’s not just about making cool tech though – the AAMMC is creating real opportunities for people like us to get involved in groundbreaking work.
Led by Gonzaga University, this initiative is already attracting major attention and investment.
