Breaking the Cycle of Youth Unemployment and Vulnerability
Across Kenya, youth unemployment remains above 35%, with many young people facing compounded challenges of poverty, trauma, and limited access to education. In our communities, talented and creative youth often drop out of school, endure abuse, or lose hope in their futures. Girls face even greater risks, including early marriage, gender-based violence, and restricted economic opportunities. Without safe spaces for healing, skills development, and mentorship, many fall into cycles of depression, substance abuse, and exploitation leaving immense potential unrealized and hindering the nation’s social and economic progress.

Enterprise Training
We train participants in income-generating skills such as carpet weaving, knitting, and crafts production. Alongside technical skills, they learn basic product design, financial literacy, and marketing.
This equips them to start and manage small businesses, turning creativity into sustainable livelihoods. It also builds confidence and practical experience that strengthen their long-term economic independence.
Sports
For Resilience
Our football and recreation programmes build teamwork, discipline, and leadership among young people. Sports provide a positive outlet for stress while encouraging peer learning, emotional expression, and personal growth.
Through guided mentorship, young people develop resilience both on and off the field. They learn responsibility, conflict resolution, and perseverance skills that strengthen their character.
Psychosocial &
Mentorship Support
Trained mentors and counsellors provide trauma-informed guidance to help participants rebuild confidence and manage emotional challenges.
Through safe spaces and consistent mentorship, individuals gain tools for healing, goal setting, and personal development. This supportive environment encourages open dialogue and strengthens emotional resilience over time.
Education Linkages
We work with local partners to reconnect school dropouts with education, scholarships, and vocational pathways. Our team provides guidance on enrollment processes, career choices, and available funding opportunities.
By linking youth to structured learning environments, we help them strengthen their academic foundation and technical skills. This expanded access to education increases their employability, broadens career possibilities, and supports long-term personal and economic stability.
